The Youth and Sports Department (Dispora) of Tangerang City has demonstrated its ongoing commitment to maintaining the viability of public facilities through routine community service activities, or "korve", every Tuesday morning. This program targets various sports facilities owned by the local government to ensure they remain clean, comfortable, and fit for optimal use by the general public.
During the latest cleanup action on Tuesday (28/7/2026), Dispora staff, led directly by the Head of Dispora Kaonang along with Dispora Secretary Helmiati, focused their activities on the Cipondoh District Mini Stadium. This regular initiative was carried out as a follow-up to the mandate of the Tangerang Mayor's Circular Letter Number 4473 of 2026 concerning the Indonesia Asri Movement.
Head of the Tangerang City Dispora, Kaonang, explained that the consistent maintenance of sports facilities is crucial given the high intensity of daily use by residents. In addition to physical cleanliness, this program is also designed to educate and trigger collective public awareness about the importance of preserving the surrounding environment.
In addition to ecological benefits, this weekly community service action is utilized as an effective means to strengthen relationships among Dispora employees, who are often occupied with their daily routines. Through this active collaboration, it is hoped that the values of togetherness can be maintained while ensuring the availability of clean, healthy, and representative public spaces for all residents of Tangerang City.
