Tabalong Regency once again hosted a prestigious sports event through the Tabalong Smart Tennis Tournament Series 2. The opening of the tournament, which took place at Taruna Tennis Court, Barunak, on Friday (03/07/2026) afternoon, was officially conducted by the Regent of Tabalong, Ir. H. M. Noor Rifani, witnessed by members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda).
Commander of Kodim (Dandim) 1008/Tabalong, Lieutenant Colonel Inf Alexander Allan Primadi, S.E., who attended the event, extended his full support. He considered the event to be not merely a competition to achieve accolades, but a strategic step in nurturing local tennis talents so they can compete at the national level.
Furthermore, the Dandim emphasized that this tennis tournament serves as an effective medium to strengthen camaraderie and solidarity among community elements. For him, the spirit of togetherness and sportsmanship built on the court reflects the positive synergy that should continue to be cultivated in the Tabalong Regency area.
Concluding his remarks, Lieutenant Colonel Inf Alexander Allan Primadi advised all participants to always prioritize discipline and sportsmanship throughout the matches. He expressed hope that the event would run smoothly and serve as a motivation for the younger generation to excel in sports.
