The board of the All-Indonesia Community Pingpong Federation (FPMSI) of East Kutai Regency for the 2026–2030 term, led by Dedy Al Kutimi, moved quickly after officially receiving the management's Decree. Their initial step began with a courtesy visit to the Indonesian Community Sports Committee (KORMI) of East Kutai to strengthen coordination.
This strategic meeting, attended directly by the Chairman of East Kutai KORMI, Syaiful Bakhri, aimed to align their vision in developing recreational and community sports in the region. East Kutai FPMSI is committed to immediately organizing its internal organizational structure, designing programs for early-age athlete development, and organizing various pingpong tournaments to increase public interest.
The Chairman of East Kutai KORMI, Syaiful Bakhri, warmly welcomed the presence of FPMSI as part of the big family of community sports organizations in East Kutai. He expressed KORMI's readiness to provide full support for FPMSI's work programs, mentioning that there are currently around 27 Parent Sports Organizations (Inorga) registered under the auspices of East Kutai KORMI.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of East Kutai FPMSI, Dedy Al Kutimi, appreciated the support provided by KORMI. He hopes that FPMSI can become an effective platform for scouting the potential of young athletes from the local level so they can compete and achieve success, both regionally and nationally.
