The country's automotive market is once again enlivened by the arrival of a new electric vehicle following the official launch of the Leapmotor C10 at the GIIAS 2026 event. Imported and distributed by PT Indomobil National Distributor, this environmentally friendly electric SUV is presented to target the modern family segment that craves driving comfort with global standards.
The strategic collaboration between Leapmotor and the European automotive giant, Stellantis, has produced a product that combines Asian efficiency and European toughness. Interestingly, the long-term commitment in Indonesia was immediately demonstrated through local assembly (CKD) located at the PT National Assemblers manufacturing facility in Purwakarta, West Java.
This premium SUV is built on the Cell-to-Chassis (CTC 2.0) platform, which integrates the battery directly into the car frame to improve driving stability. In terms of performance, the Leapmotor C10 is equipped with a 69.9 kWh LFP battery that supplies power to the rear-wheel drive (RWD) electric motor, producing 165 kW of power and 360 Nm of torque with a maximum range of 478 kilometers based on the NEDC testing standard.
The driving comfort of this car has been specifically tested by Stellantis engineers at the Balocco Proving Ground testing center in Italy to ensure precise handling at various speeds. In the interior, the cabin is designed to be very quiet using 40 sound-dampening materials and a double-layered windshield, and is upholstered in OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified silicone leather, which is safe for children.
As a modern software-defined vehicle, the Leapmotor C10 is equipped with a smart entertainment system powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip connected to dual touchscreens and supporting wireless connectivity. Passenger safety is also guaranteed by a five-star Euro NCAP safety certification, supported by a sturdy steel chassis, seven airbags, and an ADAS Level 2 active safety system.
The Leapmotor C10 is offered in the Flagship RWD variant at an official price of IDR 618 million on-the-road (OTR) Jakarta. However, specifically during the GIIAS 2026 exhibition, the distributor is offering a special promotional price of IDR 598 million, valid for a limited time for the first 500 orders.
