The Bisnis-27 Index closed today's trading session, Tuesday (7/7/2026), with encouraging results. The index, which is a collaboration between the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and Bisnis Indonesia, managed to record an increase of 1.64% and landed at the 410.82 level.
The positive sentiment in the capital market was reflected in the dominance of rising stocks. IDX data recorded that 16 stocks managed to post gains, while seven other stocks corrected, and four stocks ended stagnant. This success was in line with the movement of the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), which also closed stronger at 5,986.49.
Shares of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BBNI) became the main driver of the index with a price surge of 5.79%, bringing it to IDR 3,470 per share. Not to be outdone, paper sector issuer PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk. (INKP) also recorded a significant gain of 4.95% to IDR 7,425 per share, followed by PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk. (JPFA) which rose 4.5% to the IDR 2,090 level.
In addition to these names, other issuers that contributed positively to the index were CPIN with an increase of 3.58% and ASII which strengthened by 3.14%. On the opposite side, several stocks experienced selling pressure, namely ICBP which weakened by 2.89%, BRMS down by 2.86%, and DEWA which recorded a correction of 2.52%.
Overall, the market recorded fairly active trading activity with volume reaching 22.36 billion shares and daily transaction value of IDR 10.38 trillion. The market capitalization of the JCI was recorded at IDR 10,489 trillion.
