The East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Regional Police (Polda) achieved a proud milestone at the international level after the Indonesian World Records Museum (MURI) presented two awards at once for mental health service innovation. This recognition was granted due to the massive implementation of the Ultimate The Source Body, Mind, Soul Emotional Freedom Technique (USEFT) method within the regional police force.
The awards were presented directly by MURI Operations Director, Yusuf Ngadri, to NTT Regional Police Chief Inspector General Dr. Rudi Darmoko at the NTT Regional Police Headquarters on Saturday (4/7/2026). Based on official verification, this program has been running continuously since June 12, 2026, across 22 NTT Regional Police work units, reaching a total of 11,663 participants, comprising police officers and the general public.
The two world record categories awarded to the NTT Regional Police include being the first regional police force to implement mental health therapy using the USEFT method, and the organizer of the largest serial mental health therapy program in terms of participant numbers. This achievement solidifies the NTT Regional Police's position as a pioneer in integrating psychological support within police institutions.
Responding to the recognition, NTT Regional Police Chief Inspector General Rudi Darmoko emphasized that this appreciation reflects his institution's commitment to maintaining personnel's mental health amid the demanding dynamics of field duties. For him, well-maintained mental health is key for every National Police member to serve the public more humanely and empathetically.
Inspector General Rudi added that this initiative is expected to spark collective awareness regarding the importance of psychological health in both the workplace and society. He hopes the program will not only serve as a symbol of administrative success, but also inspire more parties to support and strengthen mental well-being to foster a healthier and more harmonious social environment.
