The Educational Technology Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Education at Jakarta State University (FIP UNJ) has officially launched a book titled "Kapita Selekta: Buku Pembelajaran Diklat KKB Dikemas dalam Bingkai Teknologi Pendidikan" (Selected Chapters: KKB Training Learning Book Packaged in the Frame of Educational Technology). This applied scientific work is the brainchild of Sridadi Pudjo Suparto, an academic who is also a former senior bureaucrat in the field of population.
The book summarizes synopses from 12 series of learning guides for Population and Family Planning (KKB) education and training (diklat). Through an educational technology approach, the author has successfully converted his decades of practical experience at the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) into systematic and easily understood academic concepts.
Dean of FIP UNJ, Aip Badrujaman, appreciated the launch as a concrete step in transforming professional experience into highly valuable scientific literature. He hopes this book will not only serve as an academic reference on campus but also as a practical guide for policy designers and training facilitators in creating more innovative learning programs.
The author's track record in the KKB field is indeed unquestionable. Sridadi Pudjo Suparto began his career at BKKBN in 1970 until he was trusted to serve as the Deputy Head of BKKBN for Training and Development. After retiring, he dedicated his knowledge as a permanent lecturer at FIP UNJ since 2005, a career path that strengthens the depth of analysis in his latest book.
The launch event, which took place in the Auditorium of the Bung Hatta Postgraduate Building, UNJ, was also enlivened by a panel discussion featuring a number of prominent practitioners and academics. In addition, national poet Taufik Ismail was also present to read a special poem as a tribute to the author's limitless dedication to the world of education and human resource development in Indonesia.
