Parisians and visitors to the French capital will once again be treated to the annual festival La Fête à Neuneu. Taking place in the Bois de Boulogne, specifically at Porte de la Muette, the funfair is scheduled to run for over a month, from August 28 to October 11, 2026.
As an event that consistently preserves a holiday spirit at the start of the new school year, the festival offers an intergenerational entertainment experience. Visitors can enjoy classic attractions such as a Ferris wheel, bumper cars, and challenging carnival games. For thrill-seekers, there are also high-speed and high-altitude rides available.
The main attraction of the 2026 edition is the free parade held every weekend. The parade is set to feature fantasy characters inspired by comics and cartoons, creating a special draw for children and families. Beyond the rides, visitors can savor traditional fairground food at various stalls set up throughout the festival grounds.
La Fête à Neuneu has deep historical roots dating back to an imperial decree in 1815. Today, the funfair has become an eagerly anticipated symbol of urban recreation. Entry to the festival area is free, though rides are charged individually, with prices ranging from 3 to 10 Euros.
Access to the location is easy via public transport, near the Porte d'Auteuil (Line 10) or Ranelagh (Line 9) Metro stations. Although detailed schedules for supporting events are still pending confirmation, organizers assure that the funfair is open to all ages, with rides tailored for visitors starting from three years old.
