The Sukowati Photography Community (KFS) Sragen once again held a creative event titled KFS in Harmony #2 on Sunday (5/7/2026). Located in the open area of NDayu Park, this event successfully attracted 79 photographers from various regions who were enthusiastic about developing their technical skills and expanding their business insights in the world of photography.
Carrying the theme Tradition in Modernity, the event was designed as a complete self-development package for camera enthusiasts. Participants were not only encouraged to sharpen their composition and lighting skills, but were also equipped with professional marketing strategies. Professional photographer Virgianarsito was appointed as the main speaker to share tips on building a marketable portfolio and utilizing digital platforms as service promotion channels.
The Committee Chairman of KFS in Harmony #2, Yoga Riyadirga Putra, explained that the concept of this event was intentionally made practical. After receiving theoretical materials in the morning, the participants immediately took to the field to practice prewedding techniques involving five professional model couples and the support of local creative vendors.
"We want KFS to be a productive learning forum for fellow photographers, as well as a means of networking for communities in Solo Raya. In addition, this collaboration aims to promote Sragen's tourism potential, especially NDayu Park, as a leading destination for commercial photo needs," Yoga said.
The event, which involved around 50 committee members, is expected to have a positive impact on the local creative industry ecosystem. Moving forward, the organizers are committed to continuing to scale up the event to attract participation from a wider scope of photographers across Indonesia.
