The Volleyball Achievement Sports Club (KOP) of Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) achieved a brilliant milestone by winning the overall champion title at the prestigious 2026 Student Sports Games Invitation. The UNJ beach volleyball team dominated the competition held at the Student Sports Education and Training Center (PPOP) Beach Volleyball Court in Ragunan, South Jakarta, from July 20 to 22, 2026.

This success as overall champion was secured after the UNJ representatives brought home two gold medals and one bronze medal. The first gold was contributed by the formidable duo Hendri Prastio and Muhammad Fadlika Ramadan in the men's doubles (2x2) category. UNJ's dominance continued in the women's division through Josephine Selvina Anasthasya Kaize and Fauziah Zahrah, who claimed the second gold. Meanwhile, the bronze medal was secured by another women's doubles pair, Luthfiah Rizky Ananda and Ibnaty Aristya Azwa Salsabila.

This victory was achieved through fierce competition against various strong teams from several universities in Indonesia. Throughout the matches, UNJ athletes demonstrated solid consistency and mature tactical play from the preliminary phase up to the final round. This achievement is part of the athlete development program under the Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences (FIKK) of UNJ.

The Dean of FIKK UNJ, Prof. Nofi Marlina Siregar, praised this extraordinary achievement and described it as the result of a structured and synergistic coaching system. According to her, this success proves that FIKK UNJ students do not only focus on academics but are also capable of competing and achieving outstanding results on the national stage through high levels of discipline.

Echoing these sentiments, the Chairman of the UNJ Volleyball Club, Hendar Suhendar, emphasized that this result was the product of hard work and close unity among athletes, coaches, and team officials. He committed to maintaining the momentum of the development program to ensure the athletes' performance remains at the highest level for both upcoming national championships and international tournaments.
