The North Lombok Regency Government expressed high appreciation to the Free Health Service (LKC) of Dompet Dhuafa West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Branch. This award was presented during the Gala Dinner celebration of the 18th anniversary of North Lombok Regency, as a form of recognition for the organization's tangible contribution to improving the health quality of the local community.
The award, signed by the Regent of North Lombok, Dr. H. Najmul Akhyar, SH, MH, alongside the Head of the North Lombok Health Office, dr. H. Lalu Bahrudin, M.Kes., highlighted the success of LKC Dompet Dhuafa in initiating various health improvement programs. The primary focus of this appreciation was on efforts to improve Maternal and Child Health (MCH), control Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), and improve environmental sanitation.
This health intervention was concretely implemented through the "Midwives for the Nation" (Bidan Untuk Negeri) program in Senaru Village, Bayan District. Through this program, midwives are specifically deployed to remote areas to provide basic medical services, assist pregnant and lactating mothers, monitor the growth and development of toddlers, and educate residents on the early detection of disease risk factors.
Responding to the award, LKC Dompet Dhuafa NTB stated that this achievement is the fruit of strong cross-sector collaboration. This award is both a responsibility and a motivation for them to continue strengthening synergy with the local government, community health centers (puskesmas), and health cadres to deliver inclusive and sustainable medical services to those in need.
