Search efforts for two teenagers from Krinjing Hamlet, Krinjing Village, Watumalang District, who were reported missing in the Mount Bismo area, Wonosobo Regency, are still ongoing. As of the sixth day of the operation on Monday (6/7), the joint SAR team has not yielded significant results regarding the whereabouts of the two teenagers, Arifin Nurohmat and Yufaidin.

Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Wonosobo Regency, Sumekto Hendro, stated that the joint team—consisting of Basarnas, BPBD elements, volunteers, and local residents—is still working in the field. The team's main focus is currently combing hiking trails and forest access routes suspected to have been traversed by the two victims before they went missing.

Based on gathered information, the two teenagers reportedly left home on Tuesday (30/6) at around 1:00 PM WIB. At that time, they only said goodbye to go out and play without providing details about their destination. Several eyewitnesses saw them near the Kali Plolok Bridge before they eventually walked toward the forest from the Sidongkal side.

When leaving home, the two teenagers were known to be wearing black T-shirts and shorts. They also carried a backpack containing provisions such as bread, sausages, and wafers, as well as a tumbler and a machete. Authorities emphasized that search efforts will continue with optimism despite the challenging terrain in the Mount Bismo area.
