Efforts to advance women's football in Indonesia are now focused on strengthening the ecosystem of sustainable youth competitions. Through the national round of the Hydroplus Soccer League (HPSL) All-Stars 2025-2026 in Kudus, Central Java, it is clear that league continuity is a crucial foundation for tiered player development. In the event, Persib Academy managed to secure the title in the U-18 category, while Goal Aksis Bandung won the U-15 category.

Yoppy Rosimin, Program Director of Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation, emphasized his team's commitment to continuing tiered competitions, including through the MilkLife Soccer Challenge. This step was taken to ensure that the national athlete development pathway remains maintained and distributed evenly across various regions in the country. Competition consistency is viewed as a vital element so that the women's football ecosystem is not interrupted and continues to grow.

In order to prepare the squad for the upcoming Srikandi Merdeka Cup international tournament in August, the national coaching team led by Timo Scheunemann along with Jacksen F. Tiago has conducted intensive monitoring. Player selection was carried out using strict parameters including technique, physical condition, communication, and game intelligence. A total of 46 players will undergo a training camp in Kudus starting July 24.

Timo Scheunemann noted a significant improvement in player quality thanks to the implementation of a regular league format. According to him, club training patterns that are now conducted year-round, rather than just based on short tournaments, have a positive impact on the individual maturity of the athletes. He also encouraged talented players from all regions to proactively enter the established competition system.

Echoing this sentiment, Jacksen F. Tiago expressed his admiration for the great potential shown by young talents during the national round. Although still in the development process, the outstanding individual quality on the field is a positive signal. The existence of regular competitions is expected to continue honing their abilities to reach the senior national team level with greater competitiveness in the future.
