A total of 38 participants attended an educational session titled 'Sleep & Recharge' held at Hotel Tentrem, Yogyakarta. This activity is part of the 'Women of Endurance' campaign, an initiative by Garmin that seeks to celebrate women's resilience in fulfilling various multitasking roles in the modern era.

Garmin Indonesia's Senior Marketing Communications Manager, Chandrawidhi Desideriani, revealed that this initiative stemmed from a desire to synergize health technology approaches with Javanese local wisdom values that uphold life balance. According to her, a woman's resilience is measured not only by how active she is, but also by the ability to recognize when the body needs a break for recovery.

During the session, sleep recovery expert Vishal C. Dasani highlighted the phenomenon of hyperarousal that frequently affects urban society. This condition, where the nervous system remains in a high alert state despite physical fatigue, is a major barrier to quality rest. Vishal emphasized that sleep is not merely a routine to pass the time, but a crucial biological process for recharging the body's energy.

To improve sleep patterns, participants were provided with practical guidelines, such as engaging in an unwinding ritual 30 to 90 minutes before bedtime—such as reading a book or taking a warm bath to ease mental burdens. Additionally, maintaining physical activity during the day is considered very helpful in boosting the body's natural drive to fall asleep faster at night.

Through this activity, Garmin hopes women can view quality sleep not as a luxury, but as a fundamental need. By combining a healthy lifestyle with technological support, every individual is expected to make better decisions to sustainably maintain physical performance and mental health.
