The Kediri Regency Government, through the Communication and Informatics Agency (Diskominfo), has taken a strategic step to improve the quality of public services in the health sector. By strengthening the management of the SP4N-LAPOR application, the local government aims to ensure that every public complaint received can be followed up more quickly, accurately, and transparently by all Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) in the region.
This effort is realized by providing intensive training for complaint management admins at the Puskesmas level. The main focus of the training includes an in-depth understanding of the application's operational workflow, ranging from report verification mechanisms to technical field handling. This step was taken as a form of government commitment to creating a more effective service system.
Acting Head of the Kediri Regency Diskominfo, Diana Herawati, emphasized the importance of changing perspectives on public criticism. She urged administrative staff not to view complaints as a burden, but rather as a valuable asset for ongoing evaluation and service quality improvement. For her, openness in receiving aspirations is the main foundation for building public trust.
The strengthening activity, which took place in Ngasem District, also involved cross-sectoral collaboration, including speakers from the East Java Provincial Government. This synergy is expected to trigger a transformation of the work culture at Puskesmas, enabling all staff to work more professionally and remain oriented toward fulfilling the basic needs of the community in Kediri Regency.
