PT Zurich General Takaful Indonesia (Zurich Syariah) projects significant business growth potential until the end of 2026. This optimism is rooted in the growing awareness among Indonesian society regarding the urgency of Sharia-based protection, alongside the vast penetration gap in the domestic Sharia insurance market.
President Director of Zurich Syariah, Hilman Simanjuntak, stated that the company is committed to maintaining organic growth momentum through a measured strategy. The primary focus is directed at reinforcing business fundamentals by strengthening distribution channels, delivering relevant product innovations, and providing higher-quality service standards to customers.
To achieve these targets, management has outlined three core strategic pillars. Concrete steps include strengthening collaboration with strategic partners, accelerating digital transformation to simplify service access, and intensifying financial literacy programs to improve public understanding of Sharia insurance benefits.
As of May 2026, Zurich Syariah recorded stable financial performance with a combined contribution value reaching IDR 307.17 billion. Meanwhile, the company disbursed gross combined claims amounting to IDR 79.37 billion during the same period, reflecting its commitment to fulfilling customer obligations as part of maintaining future business sustainability.
