Ahead of the new 2026 academic year, the government is once again rolling out the Free Health Check (CKG) program aimed at participants of the School Environment Orientation Period (MPLS). This initiative is a preventive measure to monitor students' health conditions from an early stage through designated health facilities in each region.
To participate in this program, prospective students or parents are required to complete an administrative registration. The registration process begins with preparing primary population documents, namely the National Identification Number (NIK), as well as other relevant identity documents for the data verification process.
The public can access official registration channels managed by local governments as well as local health facility authorities. Within the system, applicants must fill out the form accurately, then select an available examination location and time according to the schedule set by the respective regional health office.
Once the data is verified and registration is complete, participants must keep digital or printed proof of registration as an administrative requirement when visiting the examination site. In addition to online channels, in some regions, this process can also be facilitated directly by schools coordinating with local community health centers (puskesmas) or related health offices to ease access for students.
