In an effort to strengthen the bond between the TNI and the community in the border region, the Yonarhanud 2 Kostrad West Sector RI-RDTL Border Task Force officially kicked off a series of men's and women's volleyball tournaments titled the Dansatgas Cup 2026. The competition, taking place at the Haumenaina Office Village Field, Bikomi Nilulat District, TTU Regency, was officially opened on Saturday (11/7/2026).
This event, now in its fourth edition, feels special as it coincides with the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of Yonarhanud 2 Kostrad. The opening ceremony was attended by the Forkopimda ranks of TTU Regency, including the Vice Regent, Dandim 1618/TTU, Kapolres TTU, as well as local religious and community figures who showed high enthusiasm for this sporting event.
The Commander of the Border Task Force (Dansatgas), Lieutenant Colonel Arh Endis Fahrul Rizal, emphasized the importance of upholding sportsmanship throughout the tournament. The rotating trophy of the West Sector RI-RDTL Border Task Force serves as a symbol of healthy competition, which is expected to spark the participants' spirit to deliver their best performance on the court.
More than just a competition, this tournament is expected to serve as a platform to scout potential young athletic talents in the border region. Additionally, this activity is projected as a strategic instrument to maintain harmony and warm synergy between TNI personnel and all levels of society in the RI-RDTL border region.
