The Bali Provincial Government has declared its full support for hosting the Global Hindu Business Conference (GHBC) 2026, which will take place on July 10–12, 2026, at the Universitas Hindu Indonesia (UNHI) campus in Denpasar. Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster, emphasized that this forum is a crucial momentum for Bali to consolidate its position as a global business network hub aligned with spiritual values and local culture.
During a Gala Dinner held at Jaya Sabha, Koster warmly welcomed around 300 delegates from eight countries, including India, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates. The participants—comprising entrepreneurs, investors, and academics—are seen as strategic partners in expanding international economic cooperation grounded in the principles of Dharma.
Before the delegates, Governor Koster presented the "100-Year Bali Development Guidelines (2025–2125)" vision. He stressed that the development of the Island of the Gods does not rely solely on the tourism sector, but also on strengthening traditional villages, environmental preservation, and developing globally competitive human resources without losing cultural identity.
Meanwhile, the Founder of the Hindu Global Entrepreneur Network, Dato Pardip K. Kukreja Watu, expressed appreciation for the synergy with the Bali Provincial Government. According to him, the harmonization of economic development and cultural preservation in Bali serves as an ideal model amid global challenges such as a crisis of consciousness and environmental degradation. The conference also opens up investment opportunities in strategic sectors, ranging from renewable energy to eco-friendly technology.
GHBC 2026 is expected to yield concrete collaboration that will not only impact Bali's economic growth but also serve as a long-term collaborative platform for the global Hindu community in navigating future global market dynamics.
