Actor Aldi Taher is expanding the reach of his culinary business by inaugurating the presence of 'Aldi's Mochi' in Sukabumi City. This expansion step was realized through a strategic collaboration with the renowned souvenir producer, Mochi Kaswari Bakat Jaya, which was officially launched on Friday, July 3, 2026.
The presence of this culinary product is expected to become a new magnet for the tourism sector of Sukabumi City. Nodea, the owner of Mochi Kaswari Bakat Jaya, stated that this initiative is a joint effort to stimulate the local culinary tourism sector, with support from the Sukabumi City Government.
The inauguration event was festive, attended by the Vice Mayor of Sukabumi, Bobby Maulana, and fellow actor Ucup Nirin, also known as Bang Ocid. The presence of the three was a surprise for the public in attendance, as well as a reunion event for the former members of Trio Ubur-Ubur during the ceremony.
The launch procession was marked by a symbolic ribbon-cutting by Aldi Taher, followed by a product tasting session. In addition to business activities, the event also featured a social action in the form of giving donations to orphans as a form of care amidst the celebration of the new outlet's opening.
Aldi's Mochi is now here to greet consumers in Sukabumi with three premium flavor variants: original cashew, chocolate, and durian. Of the three choices, the chocolate flavor variant was recorded as the most popular menu item among the public on its launch day.
