A total of 39 Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) in Tangerang City are now increasingly active in implementing the Free Health Check (CKG) Program. This strategic step was taken as a concrete effort by the local government to strengthen the early detection of various potential diseases while opening up more inclusive health access for all levels of society.

Head of the Tangerang City Health Office, dr. Dini Anggraeni, emphasized that all Puskesmas in her area serve as the spearhead of service. The strategy implemented is no longer just passively waiting for residents to visit health facilities, but actively conducting proactive outreach directly to various strategic points such as schools, offices, companies, communities, down to the neighborhood (RT/RW) level.

"We encourage all Puskesmas to be more proactive in reaching out to the community. The presence of health workers in the field is key so that the reach of this CKG program can be widely utilized by residents," said dr. Dini, Monday (6/7/26).

Furthermore, dr. Dini explained that the data collected from these examinations has a dual function. In addition to serving as medical service records, the examination results will be processed to map the health profile of residents in each respective Puskesmas working area.

"Through this mapping, each Puskesmas will have an accurate overview of the health conditions of the surrounding community. Thus, prevention efforts and medical intervention steps can be carried out much faster and more targeted," she concluded. This program is expected to become a main pillar in realizing a healthier, fitter, and more productive Tangerang City community.
