The Pesawaran Regency Government held a folk festival titled "Manjau Jama Warga" to commemorate the regency's 19th anniversary. This annual event was officially opened by the Regent of Pesawaran, Hj. Nanda Indira B., at Krida Yuana Field, Hanura Village, Teluk Pandan District, on Friday (24/7/2026). The celebration began with joint sports activities, ranging from mass aerobics to a 2.5-kilometer healthy walk, which was attended by thousands of local residents with high enthusiasm.
The excitement of the opening ceremony was further felt with the distribution of various attractive prizes for lucky residents, including mountain bikes, electronic equipment, and electric motorcycles. Several key officials were seen accompanying the Regent, including the Vice Regent of Pesawaran Antonius Muhammad Ali, the Forkopimda ranks, representatives of the Lampung Province OJK, as well as community leaders and heads of regional financial institutions.
In her speech, Regent Nanda Indira expressed her deep appreciation for the collaboration and mutual cooperation of all elements of society that have driven the progress of Pesawaran for nearly two decades. She emphasized that the "Manjau Jama Warga" program is not just a ceremonial celebration, but a tangible representation of the government's commitment to facilitating public service access for citizens.
Through the concept of one-stop services in an open field, the community can easily manage population documents, business permits, vehicle tax payments, and obtain driver's licenses (SIM) and police clearance certificates (SKCK), facilitated by the Pesawaran Police. In addition, free health checks, blood donations, and socialization on women and children protection were also available to provide direct and equitable benefits.
Not only focusing on services and entertainment, this festival also serves as a driver for the microeconomy by involving dozens of local MSMEs displaying the region's featured products. The "Manjau Jama Warga" folk festival is scheduled to run until July 26, 2026, and is expected to strengthen the synergy between the regional government and the community for the sustainable development of Pesawaran.
