In commemoration of the 80th Bhayangkara Day, the Sewon Sector Police (Polsek Sewon) organized a series of community activities involving the active participation of local residents. The lively event served as a momentum for law enforcement officers to forge closer ties with various community elements in the Sewon area.
The main activities included a community fun walk, a public entertainment stage, and a local MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) bazaar. This initiative aimed not only to celebrate the anniversary of the police force, but also to serve as a tangible effort to boost the community's micro-economy by promoting regional flagship products.
In addition to offering entertainment, the police emphasized that the event provided an informal communication platform to listen to residents' aspirations regarding security and public order in their respective neighborhoods. This step aligns with the Indonesian National Police's (Polri) commitment to fostering a conducive atmosphere through a humanistic and collaborative approach.
The enthusiasm of the attending residents demonstrated a harmonious relationship between law enforcement officers and the community. Polsek Sewon hopes this synergy can be maintained to ensure a safe, orderly environment, while supporting community economic growth following the social event.
