Jakarta—The implementation of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles has now transformed into a fundamental pillar of the modern business ecosystem. This was emphasized during the peak event of The 5th Indonesia DEI & ESG Awards (IDEAS) 2026 held at the Ambhara Hotel, Jakarta, Thursday (9/7/2025).

Founder & CEO of NoLimit Indonesia, Aqsath Rasyid Naradhipa, highlighted in his opening remarks that companies can no longer ignore these practices. According to him, DEI and ESG have become key indicators determining reputation and trust levels among both the general public and investors. In fact, the younger generation now views a company's commitment to the environment and social inclusion as a primary benchmark when evaluating an organization.

Aqsath pointed out that the real challenge facing business leaders today is not merely running programs, but demonstrating the tangible impact of their initiatives. Amid dynamic shifts in public perception, the effectiveness of a program must be accurately measurable to ensure true accountability.

To ensure this success, Aqsath advised companies to perform comprehensive stakeholder mapping, establish early warning systems, and conduct thorough impact measurements. He cautioned companies against being trapped in mere program quantity, urging them instead to focus on delivering significant change for society.

Through the IDEAS 2026 event, business practitioners are expected to reflect on their strategies to go beyond fulfilling corporate responsibility, building long-term trust through measurable and high-impact actions.
