President Prabowo Subianto held an important meeting with the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR RI), Prof. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Thursday (16/4). This meeting took place shortly after the Head of State completed a series of official overseas visits.
Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya confirmed that the main agenda of the meeting was coordination regarding several crucial issues currently facing the nation. During the discussion, the government and the legislature aligned their views on current national challenges.
Furthermore, Teddy explained that Sufmi Dasco Ahmad presented various recent developments, including political dynamics, security aspects, and national economic conditions. In addition, the DPR RI leader also conveyed several strategic inputs regarding legislative functions so that government policies remain aligned with public needs.
This meeting serves as an anticipatory step by the government to ensure national stability is maintained through intensive communication with the legislative body following President Prabowo's overseas diplomacy.
