BANDAR LAMPUNG — Lampung Province is scheduled to be the first region visited by the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, during his working visit and impromptu public tour (blusukan) on June 26–28, 2026. The presence of the national figure in Bumi Ruwa Jurai is seen as further emphasizing Lampung's strategic role as a national political barometer outside Java Island.

This statement was made by the Chairman of the Central Board (DPP) of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), Benny Kisworo, after attending the Special Regional Coordination Meeting (Rakorwilsus) of PSI Lampung at the DPW PSI Lampung Office in Kedamaian, Bandar Lampung, on Sunday (7/6/2026). Benny hopes that the starting point of this series of regional visits will trigger positive political dynamics and make Lampung a reference point for the national political constellation.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Regional Board (DPW) of PSI Lampung, Achmad Ridho, stated that his team has completed 100 percent of the preparations for the reception. The itinerary is planned to be attended not only by Jokowi but also accompanied directly by the central leadership of PSI, including General Chairman Kaesang Pangarep and member of the Board of Trustees Grace Natalie.

The organizers hope the visit can last for a full three days so that a thorough assessment of the conditions and the community in Lampung can be conducted. In addition to the field visits, this moment is also being used to strengthen internal party consolidation and coordinate local volunteer networks.
