The United States stock market on Wall Street managed to post significant gains at the close of trading on Tuesday local time. The three main benchmark indices moved in unison in the green zone, driven by the return of investor interest in the technology and artificial intelligence (AI) sectors after weakening in the previous session.

According to trading data, the Nasdaq index led the surge with a 1.29 percent increase to the level of 25,837.21. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 index appreciated by 0.89 percent to the position of 7,509.20, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average also rose by 0.74 percent to close at the level of 52,224.64.

This market rebound was primarily driven by semiconductor manufacturer stocks, which were once again sought after by market participants following previous profit-taking. Leading chip companies such as Micron Technology, Sandisk, and Western Digital recorded a sharp recovery in prices, while providing a positive stimulus for the movement of the indices as a whole.

In addition to technical factors, market optimism was also supported by expectations of solid corporate financial performance in the second quarter of this year. Investors are beginning to anticipate the release of financial reports from several large-capitalization tech giants, which are expected to trigger further upward momentum in the artificial intelligence infrastructure sector.

Although positive sentiment dominated trading, market participants remained cautious regarding a number of macro risks. Some of the sentiments closely monitored include uncertainty surrounding global trade tariff policies, geopolitical tensions, and projections for the direction of the Federal Reserve's benchmark interest rate policy, which heavily depends on upcoming inflation data.
