The domestic precious metals market showed stable movement in today's trading. The price of gold bars produced by PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) Tbk recorded no change in value compared to the previous day, maintaining its position for all offered weight variants.

According to information from the official website of the Precious Metals Processing and Refining Business Unit, 1-gram gold bars are currently trading at IDR 2,655,000. Meanwhile, for the smallest denomination of 0.5 grams, consumers can purchase it for IDR 1,375,500.

For heavier variants, the 5-gram gold is priced at IDR 13,090,000, while the 10-gram size reaches IDR 26,100,000. For investors interested in medium to large sizes, Antam sets the price at IDR 65,085,000 for 25 grams, IDR 130,005,000 for 50 grams, and IDR 259,860,000 for 100 grams. As for large-scale gold reserves of 500 grams and 1,000 grams, they are priced at IDR 1,298,400,000 and IDR 2,595,600,000, respectively.

On the other hand, the resale or buyback price for gold owners wishing to sell to Antam also remained unchanged, holding at IDR 2,415,000 per gram.

Investors should note that every buyback transaction valued above IDR 10 million will be subject to Income Tax (PPh) 22 in accordance with the Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) No. 34/PMK.10/2017. The tax rate is 1.5 percent for NPWP (Taxpayer Identification Number) holders and 3 percent for non-NPWP taxpayers, which is directly deducted from the total buyback transaction value. Meanwhile, for gold purchases, a PPh 22 rate of 0.45 percent applies to NPWP holders and 0.9 percent for non-NPWP holders.
