The Subang Regency Government, through the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Innovation Agency (Bapperida), has partnered with the State Polytechnic of Subang (POLSUB) to develop modern agricultural innovations. This collaboration is realized through the cultivation of melons using the Machida-tech hydroponic system.
This agricultural technology pilot project is centered at the SP Farm Melon Tourist Park, Dayeuhkolot Village, Sagalaherang District, Subang Regency. The implementation of this innovative technology was officially launched on Wednesday morning (22/07/2026) as part of efforts to downstream academic research into the real sector.
This strategic step between the local government and the educational institution aims to apply scientific research results to deliver a real impact to the community. Through the utilization of Machida hydroponic technology, this collaborative program is expected not only to boost the quantity and quality of farmers' yields but also to strengthen the appeal of the agritourism sector in Subang Regency.
