The Asahan Regency Government, through the Health Office, held the Nutritious Action Movement in Schools centered at the Hessa Air Genting Islamic Education Foundation, Air Batu District, on Tuesday (28/7/2026). This activity is part of the Healthy Lifestyle Community Movement (Germas) campaign and is a strategic step in accelerating stunting prevention among teenage girls.

In addition to education on balanced nutrition diets, this program is also integrated with Free Health Screenings (PKG). Concrete steps include the regular distribution of Blood Supplement Tablets (TTD) and Hemoglobin (Hb) level screening to detect early the risk of anemia that often affects teenage girls.

The Head of the Asahan Regency Health Office, dr. Hari Sapna, MKM., explained that this activity targeted around 450 female students from the junior high, MTs, to Madrasah Aliyah levels at the foundation. According to him, nutritional intervention from school age is crucial so that when they become mothers in the future, their physical condition is excellent and free from anemia, enabling them to give birth to a healthy generation towards Golden Indonesia 2045.

Meanwhile, the Assistant for Government Administration of the Asahan Regency Secretariat, Mohammad Azmy Ismail, A.P., M.Si., who attended to read the message from the Regent of Asahan, emphasized that these free health screenings are also aligned with President Prabowo's Quick Win Program (PHTC). Through this early detection, health risk factors in students are expected to be identified quickly and accurately.

The Chairman of the Hessa Air Genting Islamic Education Foundation, Drs. H. Imran Mahdin, M.Ag., welcomed this local government initiative. The event was concluded with the presentation of award plaques, a health cheer demonstration by the students, the symbolic distribution of TTD by the Chairperson of the Asahan Regency TP PKK Mrs. Yusnila Indriati Taufik, and a direct review of the health screening process by the attending officials.
