The international trade exhibition Food & Hospitality Indonesia (FHI) 2026 was successfully held at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran on July 21–24, 2026. This 20th edition reinforces Indonesia's strategic position as a growth hub for the food, beverage, and hospitality services industry in Southeast Asia.

Carrying the innovative theme "A Thrilling Journey of Excellence That Celebrates the Now and Ignites the Future", this international-scale exhibition featured 576 exhibitors from 33 countries. Over its four-day run, FHI 2026 successfully attracted more than 34,000 professional visitors from 62 countries and facilitated 2,800 business meeting sessions connecting manufacturers with global distributors.

Portfolio Director of FHI 2026, Meysia Stephanie, revealed that the high enthusiasm of the participants shows the dynamism of the local industry, which is becoming increasingly competitive in the global market. This grand event was synergized with Hotelex Indonesia, Fine Furniture & Deco Asia (FFDA), and ProPak Indonesia to present a comprehensive industry supply chain ecosystem from upstream to downstream.

In addition to product exhibitions, FHI 2026 served as a forum for strategic discussions regarding food safety and technological transformation. Perum BULOG, through UB JASTASMA, introduced integrated pest control services for the hotel, restaurant, and catering (HoReCa) sector. Meanwhile, the adaptation of Internet of Things (IoT)-based technology was showcased by WaterHub and Kopi Jago to optimize the efficiency of clean water usage in real-time.

Environmental sustainability issues were also a key focus through a circular food system campaign led by FoodCycle Indonesia in collaboration with the DKI Jakarta Environmental Agency. FHI 2026 implemented concrete zero-waste actions, such as providing drinking water refill stations, processing used cooking oil through UCollect Station, and involving baristas with special needs in an inclusive empowerment program.

This exhibition also served as a stage for local talent to compete globally through prestigious competitions such as the Indonesia Barista Championship, won by Andika Nugraha, who will represent Indonesia in Panama. This great success is planned to be continued in the next FHI event, scheduled to take place on July 21–24, 2027, at the same venue.
