The Bisnis-27 Index kicked off this week's trading on an optimistic note. According to the latest data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Tuesday (7/7/2026), the index—a collaboration between the Bisnis Indonesia daily and the IDX—opened at 405.56 and immediately posted a gain of 0.37 percent.

Positive sentiment at the opening of the early session was dominated by the performance of banking and manufacturing sector stocks. PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. (BBCA) led the rally with a 1.63 percent rise to Rp6,225 per share. The upward trend was also followed by PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BBRI), which appreciated 1.08 percent to Rp2,820, as well as PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk. (INKP), which strengthened 1.06 percent to Rp7,150 per share.

Although the overall index moved in the green zone, market dynamics still showed fluctuations. A total of 11 stocks rose, while 11 others corrected, and the remaining five stocks traded flat. Several stocks facing selling pressure included ICBP, which fell 2.53 percent, AMRT down 2.15 percent, and INCO, which corrected by 1.75 percent.

In line with the performance of the Bisnis-27 index, the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) also showed a 0.23 percent gain to the level of 5,933.57. With a total market capitalization reaching Rp10,406 trillion, trading activity was fairly active, with volume reaching 460.32 million shares and a transaction value of Rp281.9 billion.
