The Bisnis-27 Index opened the week with a positive performance in Monday's trading (6/7/2026). The index, a collaboration between the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Bisnis Indonesia, was recorded to have strengthened by 0.74% and settled at the level of 404.21.
Market sentiment appeared quite optimistic, with 13 constituent issuers managing to record price increases. Meanwhile, eight other stocks corrected, and the remaining six stocks held in a stagnant position.
Shares of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk. (BRMS) emerged as the main driver of the index today with a significant surge of 5.42%, closing trade at Rp525 per share. This positive trend was followed by PT AKR Corporindo Tbk. (AKRA) which rose 3.59% to Rp1,300, and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BBRI) which grew 2.95% to the level of Rp2,790 per share.
On the other hand, several stocks experienced selling pressure and closed in the red zone, including PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk. (MBMA) which fell 1.92%, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (TLKM) which weakened 1.59%, and PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk. (JPFA) which corrected 1.48%.
In line with the strengthening of the Bisnis-27 Index, the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) also showed a solid performance, finishing at the level of 5,916.07. Trading activity was observed to be quite active, with volume reaching 19.7 billion shares and the overall transaction value touching Rp9.41 trillion.
