Anticipatory measures were taken by the North Kuta Police to maintain a peaceful environment in the tourist area of Canggu Village, North Kuta District, Badung Regency. Early Tuesday morning, police personnel were deployed to stand guard and secure the departure of visitors from various nightlife venues along Batu Bolong Beach.
The security operation, which took place as nightclubs prepared to close, was led directly by the Acting Unit Officer 3 of the Samapta Unit at the North Kuta Police, Aiptu I Komang Jaya Negara. Officers were stationed at several traffic-prone and security-sensitive points, ranging from parking areas and nightclub exits to the main traffic route of Canggu.
North Kuta Police Chief, Police Commissioner I Ketut Sukadana, explained that the presence of officers on the ground aims to provide a sense of security for tourists, both domestic and international. Besides preventing physical altercations between visitors, officers also focused on managing traffic flow to ease vehicle congestion that frequently occurs when nightlife venues close.
These police efforts received appreciation from business owners in the Batu Bolong Beach area. The presence of officers was considered effective in creating a more orderly and peaceful atmosphere, making tourists feel safe when returning home in the early hours of the morning. Such dawn patrols are committed to being carried out regularly to maintain Canggu's reputation as one of Bali's premier tourist destinations.
