The Kuantan Mudik Sector Police (Polsek) intensified surveillance on the distribution of fuel (BBM) by conducting direct patrols at the PT Zam Zam Kuantan Pratama gas station, Koto Gunung Village, Gunung Toar District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This preventive measure was taken to ensure that fuel distribution runs orderly and reaches the right targets on Tuesday (4/8/2026).
The field supervision activity was led by Inspector Second Class (Iptu) Padrianto along with Assistant Inspector First Class (Aiptu) Efrizal and Brigadier (Briptu) Arief. Using official patrol vehicles, the police personnel carefully inspected the operations of the filling station, fuel stock availability, and the implementation of the barcode purchase system to prevent distribution manipulation.
The Chief of Kuansing Police, Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant (AKBP) Hidayat Perdana, through the Chief of Kuantan Mudik Police, Police Commissioner Adjutant (AKP) Anra Nosa, emphasized that this monitoring is a concrete effort to maintain regional stability and protect consumer rights. The police reminded the gas station management to commit fully to complying with applicable regulations in serving the needs of the community.
Based on the review results, the situation at the gas station area was observed to be conducive, with traffic flow remaining smooth during filling activities. The police urged the gas station management to immediately coordinate with law enforcement officers if they find any indications of fuel misuse or security disturbances in the surrounding environment.
