Officers from the Kasokandel Sector Police, part of the Majalengka Police, conducted intensive security measures during a solo organ music entertainment event held in Leuwikidang Village, Kasokandel District, on Wednesday (08/07/2026). This proactive step was taken as a concrete effort by the police to maintain public security and order (kamtibmas) stability in the local jurisdiction.
Two personnel from the Kasokandel Police, namely Aipda Rukmanjana and Brigadier Sigit F, S.H., were deployed directly to the event location. In accordance with the instructions of the Chief of Kasokandel Police, Ipda Ato Rusdianto, S.H., the presence of officers on the ground aimed to provide a sense of security to the residents and ensure the entire series of public entertainment events ran orderly until completion.
During the event, officers applied a humanistic approach by mingling with the audience and local youth leaders. On this occasion, the police educated visitors to maintain a conducive situation. A specific appeal was also conveyed to teenagers to avoid unlawful acts, such as consuming alcoholic beverages, which often trigger conflicts in public areas.
The police's close presence in the entertainment area is a form of excellent service in responding to public crowds. With periodic monitoring, it is hoped that potential friction among residents can be anticipated early so that the community can enjoy the folk festival comfortably and peacefully.
