PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk is taking strategic steps in managing the toll road network in Indonesia through a paradigm shift from a mere infrastructure provider to infraculture. This mindset change is pursued as a concrete effort by the company to prioritize the safety and comfort of toll road users comprehensively.
President Director of Jasa Marga, Rivan A. Purwantono, explained that this transformation is not just an internal company matter, but aims to provide the best experience for the public when driving on toll roads. This initiative was shared during an experience-sharing session with academics and practitioners in Jakarta.
To realize this commitment, Jasa Marga is integrating various technology-based innovations into its operations. Concrete steps implemented include a strict monitoring system for Over Dimension Over Load (ODOL) vehicles to reduce the potential for accidents on highways.
In addition, the company is also optimizing the Jasa Marga Tollroad Command Center (JMTC) as an operational command center, as well as developing an internal control system called Troops to maintain infrastructure quality standards. On the user side, the Travoy application continues to be developed as a digital ecosystem that provides easy access to information for every motorist along Jasa Marga's toll routes.
