YOGYAKARTA — Students of the Psychology Professional Education Study Program at Universitas Mercu Buana Yogyakarta (UMBY) launched ten ready-to-use psychological innovation products designed to address mental health challenges across various age groups. These innovations were showcased in the Innovation and Creation Week (ICW) Part 5 event held at Campus 1 UMBY, coinciding with the Final Semester Exams (UAS) for the Psychopreneur course.

Carrying the theme "Create Your Mind, Build Your Impact", this event showcased evidence-based works targeting real social issues. For children, the students presented "Emo Spin", an interactive visual emotion wheel, and a three-dimensional storybook "Pop-Up Book (Mengenal Emosiku)" based on Paul Ekman's theory. Additionally, there is the "Kido Kit (Play and Grow)", designed as an alternative child development stimulation to minimize gadget dependency.

For adolescents and young adults, the innovations focused on interpersonal relationship dynamics and preventing dating violence. Products such as "Love Talk Card" were presented using Joseph DeVito's theoretical approach to strengthen emotional closeness between couples. Meanwhile, the digital platform "Sadarasa" was launched as a psychoeducational website providing relationship screening, self-journaling, and direct access to professional services.

Academic pressure and future anxiety were also addressed through several practical products. Among these are the "Welly Chain" smart keychain, equipped with a QR code leading to an emotional regulation audio playlist, and the "Anxiety Toolkit Box" containing aromatherapy candles and a breathing guide. There is also the "Remind" affirmation jar to overcome burnout in working students, the "Feelings Jar" emotional expression container, and the "Healing and Nature" group therapy program based on outdoor activities.

Dean of the Faculty of Psychology at UMBY, Reny Yuniasanti, highly appreciated the prototypes generated by the students. Echoing this, the Coordinator of the Sociopreneur Laboratory at UMBY, Nanda Yunika Wulandari, explained that this annual event serves as a platform for real collaboration so that students can implement theoretical knowledge into innovative social actions. Currently, the ten works are being processed for Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) before later being projected for mass production.
