The fighting spirit of the martial arts arena is now being brought to the university lecture halls by Bunga Syahfitrinanda, a Kickboxing and Muay Thai athlete from Pontianak who has officially become a new student at the Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) Pontianak Campus. This decision was made as a strategic step to enrich her competencies, particularly in the field of information technology through the Information Systems Study Program.

Bunga, a graduate of SMAN 7 Pontianak, is known for her impressive track record in martial arts. Her dedication since junior high school has led her to win various prestigious awards, including championship titles in Kickboxing and Muay Thai at the West Kalimantan regional level. These achievements serve as concrete proof that high discipline is the key to success.

Despite her brilliant sporting career, Bunga views higher education as a crucial foundation for the future. For her, studying at UBSI is not an obstacle to continue competing. Instead, she is determined to show her best performance in both fields simultaneously, while maintaining a rhythm of commitment and effective time management.

The campus enthusiastically welcomed Bunga's arrival. The Student Affairs Coordinator of UBSI Pontianak Campus, Yoki Firmansyah, expressed his appreciation for the new student's dedication. The campus is committed to providing an educational ecosystem that supports the development of student talents, both in academic and non-academic fields, so they can be competitive in the future.

As an institution holding the title of "Creative Digital Campus," UBSI Pontianak Campus continues to strive to facilitate students through various interest and talent development programs, as well as competency certifications. Bunga's story is expected to inspire other young generations not to hesitate in pursuing their dreams in the sports world while earning a solid academic degree.
