Digital entertainment platform MAXStream TV and streaming service iQIYI have officially collaborated to release a new original series titled "Bunga di Tepi Jurang". In partnership with production house Leo Pictures, the drama series is scheduled to begin broadcasting on July 31, 2026, across various digital broadcasting platforms and mobile applications.
The series focuses on the life dynamics of Andini, the main character played by Claresta Taufan. Viewers will be presented with an emotional narrative about a woman's resilience in breaking free from the shackles of the past to weave an independent future. Family conflicts, complex social relationships, and the search for identity are the main pillars of this storyline.
Telkomsel's VP of Digital Lifestyle, Kemas M Fadhli, explained that this strategic collaboration with iQIYI is part of the company's commitment to providing a variety of high-quality local content for customers. Through the integration of Telkomsel's reliable digital network, viewers are expected to enjoy this show seamlessly anytime and anywhere.
On the other hand, iQIYI's Senior Managing Director for Southeast Asia, Dinesh Ratnam, stated that "Bunga di Tepi Jurang" reflects iQIYI's consistent efforts to bring relevant local stories that have a strong emotional bond with Indonesian audiences. The production of this drama series is also bolstered by the involvement of a lineup of popular multi-generational actors such as Stefan William, Aliando Syarief, Derby Romero, senior actor Anjasmara, and young star Raden Rakha.
