Member of Commission VI of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI), Darmadi Durianto, highlighted the lack of clarity in the business scheme of the strategic collaboration between Perum Perumnas and PT Telkomsel in the Samesta Mahata Transit Oriented Development (TOD) area in Depok. While appreciating the synergy in terms of digital connectivity and marketing support through the GraPARI network, the legislator emphasized that this step is not yet enough to restore Perumnas' financial condition.
Darmadi stressed that inter-SOE collaboration should not merely be operational, but must also make a significant contribution to state revenue. According to him, Telkomsel's involvement in the project needs to be accompanied by a transparent and measurable profit-sharing scheme so that Perumnas can recover from losses resulting from various government mandates.
"We in Commission VI continue to emphasize that the profit sharing from this cooperation must be clear. Telkomsel earns revenue from the collaboration, so there needs to be a concrete calculation regarding the financial contribution that flows back to Perumnas," Darmadi said.
Furthermore, the PDI Perjuangan politician affirmed that his committee will conduct periodic evaluations of the digital business model. This step is being taken as a supervisory effort to ensure state investment is not wasted, while ensuring that the synergy can strengthen Perumnas' business fundamentals in the future.
