The Rampal Field area once again became a center of activity for the people of Malang City on Sunday morning, July 12, 2026. This public area is a prime destination for residents due to its strategic location in the city center and the availability of adequate parking space, making it an ideal location to unwind while engaging in activities.

Since early morning, the enthusiasm of the residents was clearly visible along the 1.3-kilometer running track. Not only for walking or jogging, this area is also utilized by various communities for a variety of sports activities, ranging from joint morning gymnastics, karate martial arts training, to badminton games. Visitor density usually peaks at 07:00 WIB and increases again in the afternoon on weekends.

In addition to the main sports facilities, this area is supported by various complete supporting amenities, including a swimming pool, tennis courts, and a beach volleyball court. This diversity of facilities is a unique attraction that keeps Rampal Field relevant for people of all ages.

Not just a fitness facility, the culinary scene around the field is also a magnet for visitors. Various merchant stalls offer typical Indonesian dishes like nasi pecel and nasi rawon, to traditional snacks such as baked mud cakes (lumpur panggang). On the other hand, the presence of a secondhand clothing and shoe market further completes the visitor experience at the location.

Furthermore, Rampal Field has now transformed into a multifunctional public space. Apart from sports and commercial activities, this venue routinely hosts national-scale music events. Notably, a number of famous domestic musicians such as Sheila on 7, Barasuara, and Sal Priadi have successfully entertained thousands of spectators in this iconic arena of Malang City.
