Donald Trump and his family have successfully amassed wealth reaching IDR 5.39 trillion through a series of strategic businesses in the Middle East. The majority of these profits originated from stock transactions of the crypto company, World Liberty Financial, which involved an entity backed by the United Arab Emirates royal family, Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
In addition to the digital sector, Trump's business empire in the Gulf region is also driven by large-scale property projects. Collaboration with local developers in the construction of Trump-branded towers and golf courses has made a significant financial contribution to the Trump Organization over the last three years.
Data shows a shift in revenue trends from foreign licensing agreements. After suppressing foreign revenue figures in 2022 and 2023, Trump's earnings surged drastically to reach US$ 59 million in 2025. This growth coincided with the expansion of new projects entering the markets of India, Vietnam, and Romania ahead of Trump's return to the national political arena.
On the other hand, Trump's involvement in the crypto world has recorded a controversial yet lucrative performance. Through World Liberty Financial and the sale of Trump-branded meme coins, he reportedly raked in over US$ 1.4 billion. Nonetheless, a Chainalysis report highlighted losses in hundreds of thousands of crypto wallets belonging to small investors, sparking discussions about the impact of digital asset volatility on the public.
Financial reports also confirmed the strengthening of traditional business lines. Revenue from the prominent resort property, Mar-a-Lago, reportedly nearly doubled to US$ 77 million, while overall revenue from the golf course and resort sector grew by 15 percent.
