The Tangerang City Government (Pemkot) through the Department of Culture and Tourism (Disbudpar) is preparing to hold its iconic annual event, the 2026 Cisadane Festival. The event, which combines cultural preservation and public entertainment, is scheduled to run for five full days, from July 22 to 26, 2026, centered along the banks of the historic Cisadane River.

Head of the Tangerang City Disbudpar, Boyke Urif Hermawan, emphasized that this festival is not just an annual recreational event. It is designed as a driving engine for the local creative economy as well as an effective means to introduce the rich cultural heritage and tourism potential of Tangerang City to a wider audience through the involvement of local MSME players.

The festivities of the first day will begin with a series of spectacular attractions to delight visitors. Starting from the Eskoda dance parade, flying jet dance (Flying Jet Dance), traditional Liong art performances, adrenaline-pumping Fire Circus attractions, to water sports exhibitions using kayaks on the surface of the Cisadane River. This opening party will then be closed with a grand fireworks display and a visual light show.

Throughout the event, the public can also enjoy various other exciting competitions and entertainment. Some of these include the legendary Dragon Boat race, a band festival, modern dance competition, and an exhibition of featured MSME products presenting a variety of local culinary delights. The public entertainment stage will also be rocked by performances from a lineup of well-known musicians, such as Feel Koplo, Samsaka, Zziepross, and a row of other local bands.

The Tangerang City Government invites all elements of society to come together to enjoy these festivities for free, with no admission fee. This festival is expected not only to provide quality entertainment for families, but also to bring a real economic impact for creative industry players in Tangerang City.
