The Regional Government of Padang Pariaman Regency continues to strive to improve the quality and affordability of healthcare services for the community. This strategic step was realized through the organization of the 2026 Public Health Coordination Meeting (Rakor) which took place for two days, from Monday (3/8/2026) to Tuesday (4/8/2026), at the Grand Buana Lestari Hotel.
This important event was officially opened by the Acting (Pj) Regional Secretary of Padang Pariaman Regency, Hendra Aswara. The agenda was also attended by leaders of relevant regional apparatus organizations (OPD), officials of the Health Office, and followed by at least 74 participants committed to aligning steps for public health.
Head of the Padang Pariaman Health Office, Engga Lift Irwanto, explained that this meeting serves as a crucial forum to evaluate public health performance indicators up to the Second Quarter. In addition to mapping out field obstacles, this forum is designed to formulate acceleration strategies for the Third and Fourth Quarters targets and strengthen the implementation of Primary Service Transformation using a cluster approach.
Carrying the theme "Strengthening Cross-Program and Cross-Sector Services in the Implementation of Primary and Community Healthcare Services in Padang Pariaman Regency", this meeting is expected to align regional programs with the priority policies of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia.
Meanwhile, Acting Regional Secretary Hendra Aswara emphasized that this activity should not merely be a ceremonial event or a directionless discussion space. He demanded concrete and measurable steps whose benefits can be directly felt by the local community.
As a form of commitment, the Padang Pariaman Regency Government is fully committed to supporting the health sector through improving governance, increasing the capacity of medical personnel, optimizing the use of information technology, and strengthening cross-sector cooperation down to the nagari (village) government level.
