The Regional Board of the Golkar Party Youth Wing (PD AMPG) of West Kalimantan has declared its readiness to produce political cadres with a technocratic spirit. This commitment was voiced following the participation of the West Kalimantan delegation in the AMPG National Working Meeting (Rakernas) and National Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas) 2026, which took place at the DPP Golkar Party Office, Jakarta, on July 9–12, 2026.

Under the theme "Technocratic Political Cadres, the Pillar of People's Trust", this national agenda is designed to strengthen organizational consolidation while honing the leadership capacity of young cadres. Through the concurrent 3rd Wave of the National Young Cadres Education and Training (Diklat), participants were equipped with national insights, analytical skills, and network strengthening adaptive to the dynamics of the times.

Chairman of PD AMPG West Kalimantan, Dodi Setiawan, emphasized that the momentum of this Rakernas is highly strategic for the region. According to him, the formulations from the national forum will be directly implemented into regional work programs, specifically to structure youth development patterns that are more relevant to local challenges in West Kalimantan.

"We see this Rakernas as an important platform to absorb best practices and align our vision with the central office. We will adopt the resulting recommendations to create innovative programs that directly address the needs of the younger generation in West Kalimantan," said Dodi.

Dodi also added that the concept of technocratic politics is highly relevant to current development needs. Young Golkar cadres are demanded to not only possess political idealism but also professional expertise and integrity to offer concrete solutions to public issues. This step is expected to strengthen party solidarity and increase public trust in youth leadership.
