The Solok City Women's Organizations Association (GOW) has taken concrete steps to raise public awareness about the importance of health insurance. Through a monthly meeting held at the TP-PKK Office Hall of Solok City on Tuesday (28/7), the organization specifically socialized the National Health Insurance (JKN) Program as a vital instrument in protecting families.

The event was officially opened by the Advisor of GOW Solok City, Mrs. Dona Ramadhani Kirana Putra. She emphasized the crucial role of women in disseminating information about JKN to ensure that every family receives equal access to healthcare services and is shielded from high medical costs when falling ill.

In addition to serving as an educational platform, the Daily Chairperson of GOW Solok City, Mrs. Ely Umar Rivai, explained that this regular meeting also serves as a forum to strengthen relations and evaluate the organization's work program. She hopes that GOW members can act as information agents, spreading understanding of JKN benefits to the wider community.

A technical presentation on the benefits of JKN was delivered directly by Liza Erlina, a representative from BPJS Kesehatan Solok City. In her explanation, she outlined how the JKN program operates on the principle of mutual cooperation (gotong royong) to provide financial protection and comprehensive medical services for all participants. The meeting concluded with an interactive discussion and a group photo session as a symbol of commitment to cross-organizational synergy.
