The Vice Regent of North Timor Tengah (TTU), Kamillus Elu, officially opened the Education and Training (Diklat) of the Flag Hoisting Troop (Paskibraka) at the TTU Regency level on Saturday (1/8/2026). This activity is an important part of the preparations for the ceremony commemorating the 81st Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia at the regency level.
In his address, Kamillus highly appreciated all the participants who were selected to join this year's Paskibraka. He praised the posture and physical readiness of the participants, calling them the region's best youth who possess great potential to become future leaders of the TTU Regency.
The Vice Regent also reminded them of the importance of maintaining physical and mental stamina during the high-concentration training process. Participants were asked to constantly follow the trainers' instructions, respect the mentors, maintain group unity, and take care of their health to remain in prime condition until the day of the ceremony.
He added that today's spirit of patriotism is no longer fought on the battlefield, but is reflected in self-discipline, diligence in study, devotion in worship, and respect for parents and fellow humans. Through this training, Paskibraka members are expected to absorb positive character values to apply in their daily lives.
