In anticipation of the 10th East Java Provincial Sports Week (Porprov X) in 2027, the East Java Provincial Board of Muaythai Indonesia has taken a strategic step by strengthening the quality of its human resources. Located at the East Java KONI Hall on Saturday (11/7/2026), the federation organized an intensive training agenda for coaches, referees, and judges.

This activity was attended by 80 participants from 25 regencies and cities across East Java. This high participation rate is a positive indicator that the martial art of muaythai is becoming increasingly popular and experiencing rapid development at the regional level.

The Chairman of the East Java Muaythai Indonesia Provincial Board, Baso Juherman, emphasized that capacity building of human resources is the main foundation for the success of this multi-event sports gala. According to him, the success of Porprov is not only measured by athlete achievements, but also by the ability of match officials to comprehensively understand the regulations.

Furthermore, Baso hopes that through the standardization of the understanding of international regulations, muaythai competitions in East Java can run more professionally and objectively. This effort is expected to produce talented athletes who are not only capable of competing at the provincial level, but also ready to face challenges at national and international levels.
