The Gunung Putri Sector Police (Polsek), under the Bogor Police Department (Polres), successfully uncovered an alleged illegal prescription drug distribution and abuse case in the Cikeas Udik Village area, Gunung Putri District, Bogor Regency, on Friday (18/7/2026). During the raid, officers apprehended a man with the initials YS, strongly suspected of being involved in the illicit drug distribution network.
Following a search at the scene, police secured a significant amount of evidence, including 485 Tramadol pills and 3,000 Exymer pills. In addition, officers confiscated IDR 2 million in cash, allegedly proceeds from the illegal drug sales, as well as an airsoft gun found at the location.
The disclosure of this case is part of the local police's ongoing commitment to eradicating the abuse of dangerous drugs that lack official distribution permits. Currently, the suspect YS, along with all evidence, has been secured at the Gunung Putri Police Station for further legal investigation and development.
